Profit Accumulator is one of the most popular matched betting sites alongside OddsMonkey. It was one of the first membership sites to teach people about matched betting and they brought many people into this industry with their guides and tutorials but are they still worth signing up with?
Well we think they are good but your money is better spent elsewhere. Why? The reason is simple, OddsMonkey are better than them.
But lets look at what they do well.
Profit Accumulator have a decent oddsmatcher. It’s not as good as the competition but it works well, it updates in real time which is a real bonus. It has all the expected features and filters. There is no Betfair integration or Profit Tracker integration though, OM has both of these features.
No matched betting site is complete without a calculator. This is the same as everyone else. It does what it needs to, works out your lay bets. Not really much else to say.
Guides & Tutorials.
PA have some great video guides and tutorials. They will walk you through the process of completing many of the sign up offers making it easy for beginners to start matched betting. Their reload tutorials could be better but they have really nice guides for the sign up offers. The free trial will give you access to a couple of guides, these will teach you how to make around £40. These will also give you a feel of their tutorials and what you can expect when you get inside the site if you do decide to sign up. TO get full access you will need to sign up for a platinum account, though they do offer a 30 day money back guarantee so you can try it and see if you like it. OddsMonkey also offer this refund insurance.
This allows you to keep an eye on all the money you are making. It’s a bit of a hassle to fill in but it’s good practice to know how much money you are making and where your money is. OddsMonkey also have a profit tracker but theirs is integrated with the tools and calculator so you can log your profit with one click.
PA also have some other tools to help you do your matched betting. Tools like a dutch matcher, an each way matcher and a racing matcher. These are great for individual offers but you might not use them that much in general. The main value lies with the sign up and potential support.
This is where you will spend most of your time on PA if you do sign up. It’s a great place to learn and to interact with other members. It used to be an amazing place where everyone pulled together to make some money and big wins were celebrated and congratulated. However the forum seems to have lost its way and many of the better contributors have left the site for pastures new. There is also a lot of gambling talk on the forum which is not what matched betting is about. The amount of bragging about big gambling wins is annoying and frankly stupid.
Whilst PA offer good customer service it could be better. They are quite slow to respond on their own forum and more often you will get an answer from another member before you get an answer from the staff. That’s one thing about OddsMonkey, their staff are ever present on the forum and answer questions very quickly. PA also offer phone support.
Is It a Scam?
No it’s a real website and legit business. I have personally been a member there and know many other people that have as well. Most of them have made the jump to OddsMonkey but PA is a good site and it’s definitely not a scam. They have been on the go about 3 years now and have a large membership base.
The owner is a man called Sam and he appears in the videos himself to walk you through a few sign ups. He doesn’t seem as active as he used to be but it puts a face to the company so you know it’s legit.
Is It Easy To Learn ?
Combined with the tools and guides on PA matched betting is very easy to learn. You can’t really go wrong when you are following step by step guides. It’s nice to have the backing of support staff though which is why I recommend OddsMonkey as opposed to Profit Accumulator. However if you are confident you will be able to work your way through most of the guides without issue and start making some money from matched betting. You are taught what you need to know.
Does it work in 2017?
Absolutely. Matched Betting is still going strong and there is a lot of money still to be made every single day. Whilst it used to be far more lucrative it is still the best way to make easy money on the internet and something anyone over the age of 18 can get involved in. Matched betting is perfect for students or anyone looking for extra income. You can do it around a full time job is you wish.
How much money can you make?
This is what it really boils down to, how much can you make from them. The answer is a decent amount, every month.
Of course the amount you can make depends on how much time and money you can make. On the forum there are sections for people to state their overall profits. With some claiming to be in the £25k club and higher. Obviously this is all talk and no one is porving anything but if you have been matched betting long enough there is no reason why you can’t make that type of figure.
From the opening sign up offers you should be able to make around £800, after that you can move onto the daily reload offers which are more unpredictable but there is usually enough to make £800 – £1000 from one set of accounts.
Profit Accumulator is a decent site but it isn’t what it was. It hasn’t really bothered to evolve since it first launched meaning the site itself is now lacking some key tools and features and the features that are there aren’t as refined as they could be. The best bit about the site used to be it’s community forum but this has also gone down hill dramatically. If you decide to sign up here you will do ok, I won’t deny that, the tutorials will see you where you need to be for the most part. However when there is a better service and better tools and better support available from OddsMonkey why would you sign up for PA?
